TORONTO -- Sophomore forward Sam Bloom scored a pair of power play goals in his hometown, including the game-winner, as the defending OUA East champion McGill Redmen came from behind to defeat York 4-1 Sunday, and win the York Invitational hockey tourney.

Mathieu Poitras, making his fourth consecutive start, made only 13 saves for the win as McGill outshot the Lions 27-14.

York got on the scoreboard first when Tyler Harrison clicked on the powerplay at 2:41 of the opening period. Then the Redmen rallied with four unanswered goals, including markers from Benoit Martin and Lucas Madill.

McGill, 3-1-0 in pre-season play, will host Moncton in a pair of non-conference games next weekend in preparation for the OUA regular season opener at Concordia, Oct. 13.
