Redmen 3 - Toronto 6

Game Report

MONTREAL – Byron Elliott and Kyle Ventura scored twice apiece as the Toronto Vasity Blues doubled McGill 4-2 in OUA men’s hockey at McConnell Arena Friday.

McGill dominated Varsity through the first two periods with a 20-13 edge in shots but the Blues took advantage of an uncharacteristically undisciplined Redmen team. They scoring five power play goals on their first five chances – including a pair of 5-on-3 markers – and finished the night going 5-for-10 with the man advantage.

The air seemed to go out of the ballon for McGill when veteran forward Sam Bloom was ejected midway through the second period for a check-from-behind penalty.
